Number assignments revealed for Georgia football freshmen
With spring practice underway at Georgia, that means that there are numbers being assigned to new Bulldogs and other players changing their number. There are quite a few this year since UGA has 16 early enrollees.
We’ll start with the number changes where redshirt sophomore inside linebacker Rian Davis will don the number 0. Sophomore tight end Darnell Washington wears that number on the offensive side of the ball. Sophomore running back Kendall Milton is now wearing No. 2 after wearing No. 22 a year ago. Inside linebacker Quay Walker wore No. 25 for the first three years of his career but he will wear the No. 7 as a senior in 2021.
Redshirt freshman receiver Justin Robinson is now wearing No. 9 after having No. 17 last season. Walk-on quarterback Jackson Muschamp, a redshirt freshman, wore No. 26 last season but he’ll wear No. 14 in 2021. Redshirt sophomore tight end Brett Seither wore No. 18 last season but he will now wear No. 80 since JT Daniels wears his old number.
As is normally the case, there aren’t many number changes amongst the offensive and defensive linemen. There are quite a few duplicate numbers, especially the ones under 20. Scroll down to see what numbers each of the 16 early enrollees will wear during their first season at UGA.
