College Football News drops preseason Top 25 rankings
March Madness is here with the NCAA Tournament in full swing, but it’s never a bad time to preview the upcoming college football season, one that expects to be a wide open race at the top among elites with several programs replacing all-everything players in key positions.
You know the national championship contenders, but which programs outside of those has a chance to reach breakthrough and get to the College Football Playoff? Depending on your preferred preseason Top 25 rankings, North Carolina and Texas A&M are two teams
Ironically, the Tar Heels and Aggies met in the ‘who’s next’ Orange Bowl to end the 2020 campaign, a fireworks-filled bowl game that gave fans at both programs a chance to see an early look at next season’s squads. Both are near unanimous selections in way-too-early Top 10s and each finished just short in their respective conferences last season as title hopefuls.
Another preseason power ranking of America’s 25 best teams has emerged, this poll a bit different than some of the others this spring.
