Commencement exercises for the Shady Side Academy Class of 2021 were hosted June 4 at the Senior School’s Farrell Stadium.

This year’s ceremony was limited to administration, faculty, graduates and their guests in order to keep gathering numbers down and allow for seating on the field with chairs spaced 3 feet apart.

There were 117 students who received their diploma.

Graduates will attend 77 colleges in 26 states plus Washington, D.C., France and Scotland this fall, school officials said. The 25th annual Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy at Missouri Southern State University is an inclusive camp for children of all abilities ages 7 to 12 that runs the first full week of June. The event is sponsored by the university’s kinesiology department.
